Water-repellent

The Joli Double is made from waterproof polyester. The flaps fall nicely over the pannier, making the pannier water-repellent and providing ample protection against average showers. However, if you want it to protect your gear against the heaviest shower, we recommend buying a New Looxs rain cover for double bike panniers to go with it. All panniers are 100% waterproof when protected by a rain cover.

Spacious main compartment

The bike pannier’s main compartment is very generous, which means that you can take plenty with you. In addition, the pannier has an extra zip pocket under the flap on the front. The main compartments have click closures. The Joli Double is an extremely practical pannier, whether you want to go shopping, commute to work, travel to school or go on a leisure ride.

Mounting system

The Joli Double bike pannier with MIK adapter is designed for MIK luggage carriers so check whether your bike has a MIK carrier! If it doesn’t, you can use a MIK Carrier plate that attaches to your luggage carrier.
The bike pannier has a pre-mounted MIK adapter so the bags click quickly onto the luggage carrier. You can release the bag from the bike with one swift motion – a very practical feature if you don’t like leaving your bike pannier on your bike. And of course it’s better to take bike panniers off the bike if you need to transport the bike on your car’s bike carrier.
The advantage of the MIK mounting system is that the bike pannier is always properly secured to the luggage carrier, so it stays in place and doesn’t slip about. A small Velcro strap allows you to fix the bike pannier more securely to the sides of the luggage carrier.
We recommend a New Looxs spacer with this Joli double bike pannier if you regularly use it for heavy loads. The spacer prevents the pannier catching on the wheel. Slide the spacer into the insert pockets on the back of the bike pannier.The bike pannier is sturdy and keeps its shape well due to the plastic stiffeners that slide into the bottom and back of the bag so it does not lose its shape, making it easy to stow things in the bags.
