Atran mounting

The Vigo double bike pannier with Atran adapter fits Atran luggage carriers. If your bike doesn’t have an Atran luggage carrier, you can still easily fix the pannier to your luggage carrier with an Atran Newrack. The bike bag has a pre-mounted Atran adapter so it clicks very quickly onto the luggage carrier. You can release the bag from the bike with one swift motion – a very practical feature if you don’t like leaving your bike pannier on your bike. And of course it’s better to take bike panniers off the bike if you need to transport the bike on your car’s bike carrier.
The advantage of the Atran mounting system is that the bike bag is always properly secured to the luggage carrier. A small Velcro strap allows you to fix the bike pannier more securely to the sides of the luggage carrier.

Water-repellent

The Vigo double bike pannier is made from waterproof polyester. The flap falls nicely over the pannier, making it water-repellent and offering ample protection against light rain. However, if you want it to protect your gear against heavier showers, we recommend buying a New Looxs rain cover for double bike panniers to go with it. With a rain cover, all panniers are waterproof.

Attractive, sporty design

The pannier’s main compartment is very generous, so it will carry more than you might suppose at first glance. The main compartment closes with a drawstring to keep things neatly together. The flap is then closed with a sporty hook closure. The bags feature 2 extra front pockets and 2 elasticated side pocket which will easily hold things like a water bottle. All these features make the Vigo Double suitable for shopping trips, biking to the office or school and of course it’s a great accessory for leisure rides.
You can use a spacer with this pannier to ensure that it doesn’t get caught in the wheel if the bag is heavily loaded. Slide the spacer into the insert pockets on the back of the bike pannier.
The bike pannier is sturdy and keeps its shape well due to the plastic sheets in the bottom and back of the bag. In addition, the bike pannier has extra foam reinforcement so it doesn’t lose its shape, making it easy to stow things in the bags.
